Where do people come up with this stuff? Here is another creative use of an object that is designed for something completely different. This last has taken colored pencils, you know, the same colored pencils that we monkeyed with as a child (and still do occasionally), and has sculpted some incredible pieces.

Here is some fantastic artwork made out of toilet paper rolls and cut outs. A very simple concept that is implemented quite splendidly. I love the effect it gives when adding back light. Even though it’s such a common piece of cheap cardboard, this artist brought such an elegance to it.
